Skynow Pty Ltd as trustee for Skynow Trust ABN 12951930655 (Home Loans Now) recognizes the importance of your privacy and understands your concerns about the security of your personal information. We are committed to protecting any personal information about you that we hold. This privacy policy details how we generally manage your personal information and safeguard your privacy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to acts or practices of Home Loans Now that are directly related to employee records of current or former employees.

Please note that if Home Loans Now is required by law to release information about you or your organisation, Home Loans Now must co-operate fully.

Collecting personal information about you

The kinds of personal information we hold:
We only collect personal information to enable us to conduct our business (eg administration, research, product development and marketing) including performing our functions as a mortgage broker and communicating with you. The type of information we collect will include information necessary to enable Home Loans Now and our lenders to assess your suitability and eligibility for obtaining mortgage finance.

This may include:

• financial data;
• personal contact details;
• tax returns; and
• other information about your identity and financial circumstances.

We also collect some information from you when you use our website www.homeloansnow.com.au. Your use of the facilities and services available through our website will determine the amount and type of information which we collect about you. Some of this information will not be personal information because it will not reveal your identity.

The only personal information which we collect about you when you use our websites is what you tell us about yourself (for example, by completing an online form or subscribing to an online newsletter), or information you provide to us when you send us an email. We may record your email address if you send us an email.

We respect your privacy. Any personal information which we collect about you will be used to provide the services or functions we normally undertake in the course of our business as a mortgage broker.

Contracting out services and disclosures.
We may disclose your personal information to our service entities and contract out some of our functions (such as bulk mailing of newsletters) to external service providers. We may disclose your personal information to these external service providers but only so that they can provide the services that we have contracted out to them.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose our client lists to third parties. Our policy is not to disclose personal information about you to any person outside Home Loans Now Pty Ltd except on a confidential basis to the Australian Finance Group Limited (ABN 11 066 385 822), our approved panel of lenders and agents we may use in the ordinary course of our business. We will only disclose to these third parties the information necessary for them to perform their services. Otherwise, we do not disclose personal information unless we are required to exempted by law or regulation.

How we collect personal information from you
If you provide us or have provided us with your email address, we may send emails to you containing Home Loans Now publications, such as newsletters. We may use an "email management system" to automate the management and dispatch of these emails. The system operates by inserting tracking codes in the emails that we send to you.

The kind of personal information we collect about you
The tracking code allows us to collect personal information about you, such as whether you received and opened an email, and whether you clicked through to any links to our website. This information that we collect about you will be stored by our email management system.

The purpose for which we collect the information about you
The personal information that an email management system collects about you would be used by us to:

• ensure that you only receive correspondence that you have informed us that you wish to receive
• determine whether the information that we send to your is suitable for you interests, information needs and profile
• ensure that the email address that you have provided us is still operational
• determine whether emails that we send to you are received by you
• update a request that you make to us to unsubscribe from a publication that we send to you

How will Home Loans Now keep your personal information?

Home Loans Now seeks to take reasonable steps to protect the personal information it holds from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure..

Home Loans Now's policy is also to take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information if it is no longer needed.

Accessing, correcting and updating your personal information

At any time, you can ask us to provide you with details of the personal information that we hold about you. In some cases a request may be refused (eg where access is prevented or restricted by law or a basis for refusal arises under the NPP's). For obvious reasons we may ask you to provide proof of your identity prior to releasing the personal information. We may also charge a small fee to cover any administrative costs incurred in providing personal information to you.

We will deal with all requests for access to personal information as quickly as possible. Requests for a large amount of information, or information which is not currently in use, may require further time before a response can be given.

In the event that you believe that your personal information is not accurate, complete and up-to-date, you may ask us to take reasonable steps to correct the information. If Home Loans Now does not agree that the information ought be amended, then we are willing to record your disagreement if you wish.

Complaints

If you think that there has been a contravention of our Privacy Policy contact the Home Loans Now Privacy Officer. To assist us, we ask that any complaint be set out in writing and provide sufficient information to enable a proper investigation to be made.

Upon receipt of a complaint Home Loans Now's Privacy Officer will investigate the circumstances of the complaint and any allegations against Home Loans Now. Home Loans Now's Privacy Officer will endeavour to finalise the investigations quickly and efficiently.

If, as a result of the investigation of a complaint, the Home Loans Now Privacy Officer reasonably believes there has been a contravention of Home Loans Now's Privacy Policy, Home Loans Now's Privacy Officer will notify senior management and request that steps be taken to ensure there is no continued contravention.

Changes to this Policy

Home Loans Now may update, amend or vary this Privacy Policy from time to time. If it is changed, the changes will be posted on Home Loans Now's website or in its reception. This Privacy Policy summarises the sort of personal information collected, how the personal information may be used, and under what circumstances it may be disclosed by Home Loans Now.
